Lyle McKeany is a writer, husband, and father. He writes a weekly newsletter called Just Enough to Get Me in Trouble where he speaks to real life struggles, and being a father to a daughter with cerebral palsy. His writing is raw, personal, and vulnerable.
Lyle has had an eclectic career with stints as a major-label musician, professional poker player, early-stage startup founder and employee, and now a writer.
You can learn more about him and subscribe to his newsletter at lyle.blog, where he sends out a piece of writing every Thursday.
Anthony’s Take:
What an immersive conversation. We first heard Lyle’s whirlwind story of signing his Nu metal band to a major record label, back when groups like Papa Roach and Korn dominated the US music scene. That story took a wild turn after 9/11 and then we started hearing about Lyle’s intense experiences having a daughter with cerebral palsy. Lyle’s sincere writing about all of these topics is incredibly moving and has allowed him to connect with parents from all over the world. I’m sure you’ll be able to connect with him too.
Ben’s Take:
